Here are the top three stories today in Johns Creek:

  1. The Johns Creek Police Department is rewarding Officers Ellen Akins and Samantha Mullis with the 2021 Honorable Service Award. Akins and Mullis responded to a suspicious person call of a man sleeping at a closed shopping center. After learning the man had no safe place to sleep that night, they paid for him to stay at a hotel with their own money. (JCPD via Instagram)
