Here are the top three stories in Johns Creek today:
- A 31-year-old Indiana mother who disappeared from Johns Creek has now been missing for more than three months. Ciera Breland was last seen leaving her mother-in-law's home here in town on Feb 24. Breland and her husband, along with their 5-month-old son, were visiting family in various towns in Georgia on the trip. Breland's husband has been arrested on unrelated charges but is the sole person of interest in her disappearance, according to officials. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
- Local candidates were put in awkward positions after borders between districts were shuffled. Democratic state representatives Shelly Hutchinson and Rebecca Mitchell competed for the same Gwinnett County District, while Republican state representative Bonnie Rich was unseated by outsider Republican David Clark. Read about the shifting district lines and the results of Tuesday's election at the link. (Georgia Recorder)
