The 36,000-square-foot Grecian estate in the Country Club of the South in Johns Creek is called one of the safest homes in America.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — A well-known estate in Johns Creek will go up for bidding on the virtual auction block next week. The Rice House, a 36,000-square-foot Grecian fortress known as one of the safest homes in America, will sell at auction via Concierge Auctions’ online marketplace.
Inspired by the iconic Acropolis of Athens, the Greek Revival-style home is set against the Chattahoochee River in the prestigious Country Club of the South in Johns Creek. While the secure, 900-plus-acre development is patrolled 24 hours a day, the estate also features an embedded security system by Al Corbi, a renowned global security expert and founder of Strategically Armored and Fortified Environment (SAFE).
Currently listed for $14.7 million, the estate will sell at or above $3.9 million in cooperation with Paul Wegener of Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty. Bidding will open Tuesday, Sept. 18 and close Thursday, Sept. 20. The Rice House awaits final completion decisions on interior and exterior finishes, "providing one lucky bidder the opportunity to realize the incredible potential of the estate," Concierge Auctions said. To ensure a smooth transaction for the new owner, general contractors, architects, engineers, and landscape design are available for consulting on-site.
