Richards signs with West Georgia

Track and Field athlete, Richards, signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her throwing career at the University of West Georgia. West Georgia is an NCAA Division II school and competes in the Gulf South Conference.

Richards earned 8 varsity letters, 4 in softball and 4 in track & field. She was named to the all-region team in softball her freshman and sophomore years. In Richards’ senior year, she took 1st place in both shot put and discus at Fulton County Championships. She also took 1st in shotput and 2nd in discus at the 6A Region 7 track meet. She has qualified for the 6A state track meet in both shotput and discus.
