Johns Creek Cancels Founders Day Parade
The city has decided to cancel its annual celebration due to the threat of rain and thunderstorms.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — The city of Johns Creek has called off its annual celebration of the community due to the threat of inclement weather.
The city has canceled its Founders Day Parade, which was scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 1. Johns Creek notes it decided to cancel the festivities due to rain and thunderstorms predicted for the majority of Saturday morning and "for the safety of our residents and parade participants."
The previously planned road closures along State Bridge Road will no longer take place, the city said.
