Search Underway In Johns Creek For Man Wanted On Multiple Charges

Police say the man, identified as Javonte Deon Jarrett, should be considered armed and dangerous.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — A search is underway Friday for a man Johns Creek Police say is wanted on several charges.

Police say the search for Javonte Deon Jarrett is taking place in the area between Kimball Bridge Road to State Bridge Road and Jones Bridge Road. He should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.

Charges are pending against Jarrett for kidnapping, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and rape, police said.

Officers first responded around 10 a.m. to Northaven at Johns Creek Apartments at Caswyck Drive to a domestic dispute call. Police said when officers arrived, Jarrett ran from the scene into a wood line.

Jarrett weighs 215 pounds and is 6-feet-1 inch tall, police said. He was last seen wearing a purple hooded sweatshirt and black shorts.
