Suspect Accused In Johns Creek Double Shooting Found Dead
Police said the man was found dead Tuesday afternoon in Sandy Springs.
JOHNS CREEK, GA — A man accused of shooting his ex-girlfriend and her boyfriend Monday has been found dead in Sandy Springs, Johns Creek Police said Tuesday night.
Abdul Batin Rashid was found dead around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday near Kendall Court, police said. It appears he died from a self-inflicted gunshot, police said.
Rashid was being sought on aggravated assault and firearm possession charges in connection with the shooting of his former girlfriend and her boyfriend at Plantation Bridge Drive, police said.
