Sweet Smell of 'Sarah Donuts' Comes to Johns Creek
They may sound like cupcakes, but at Sarah Donuts, red velvet and devil's food cake are popular flavors of gourmet donuts.
Are donuts replacing cupcakes as the new on-trend dessert?
Quite possibly -- and the owners of the new Sarah Donuts opening in Johns Creek are hoping that their sweet creations will capture the hearts of Johns Creek locals.
Husband and wife team Sarah and Jongwon Park first brought over their successful donut business from Texas to Georgia in 2004. They currently own four other Georgia locations, and just opened their fifth location in Johns Creek this past Saturday. The new store is located next to the Texaco station at 7110 McGinnis Ferry Road.

A formal ribbon-cutting ceremony with Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of Forsyth County, Peter Amos, will also take place on Saturday, July 19 at 1 p.m., and the public is invited to attend.
Sarah Donuts is known for its unique and imaginative flavors, including red velvet, blueberry, cinnamon twist and devil's food cake. They even have star-, flower-, and heart-shaped donuts.
