  1. Now you can learn the art of watercolors in a fun and low-pressure environment. On Jan. 16 at 10:00 a.m., Johns Creek Arts Center will start a beginner class on the basics of watercolor art. The course will run on Mondays. Registration is required to attend. (MaxPreps)
  2. Join the city of Johns Creek to celebrate the Lunar New Year. There will be an event on Jan. 21 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. There will be cultural performances, local vendors, traditional food, and other fun activities for the whole family.   3. The Wilson Creek Elementary School is holding a student art contest! The Through My Eyes Art Contest, which will be for the 2022-2023 school year, consists of six categories: visual arts, creative writing, photography, film production, original dance choreography, and original music composition. The theme is What is in My Future? Students in kindergarten through fifth grade can submit their entries before Jan. 19. Winners will advance to the Johns Creek Cluster level awards.
