A New York Times bestseller, “This Tender Land” is a novel about four orphans on a life-changing odyssey during the Great Depression. Of the two free Zoom discussions that will be held Sept. 14, there are still openings for the 2 p.m. event only. These free virtual book talks are offered six times a year by Roswell Reads, a community literary initiative sponsored in part by local libraries, where each selection can be checked out.
