Alcon Research Clinics – Johns Creek is a clinical research facility focused on advancing eye care through innovative, participant-centered clinical studies. We primarily conduct studies related to contact lenses and vision health, offering community members the opportunity to participate in research that contributes to meaningful advancements in eye care. Individuals who express interest in participating complete a screening to determine which studies they may qualify for. Participation is always voluntary, but compensation is provided for their participation. Our clinic works collaboratively with trusted optometrists, medical professionals, and local businesses throughout the area. These partnerships help us stay closely connected to the community and ensure our research reflects real-world vision care needs, while making it easier for interested individuals to learn about research opportunities in a comfortable and approachable way. Explore The public has cost-free access to Autrey Mill’s grounds for hiking, nature study, strolling the pathways of the Heritage Village, and viewing our animal exhibits. Entrance to the grounds is free and is open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm 365 days of the year. The preserve has grown under the 35-year leadership and vision of our nonprofit. Today we welcome 14,000 annual visitors to explore our 1.3 miles of trails, animal exhibits, and the historical village.

Johns Creek's Movies at Newtown Park series continues Saturday, July 13, when a caveman and his family venture into new territory."The Croods," rated PG, continues the summer outdoor movie series at dusk.Families are invited to brink blankets and let the kids take advantage of pre-show entertainment like face-painting, moonwalks, contests and more. Food and drinks will be available for sale. Admission is free, but alcohol and pets are not allowed.The next movie will be Aug. 24.
