A Post Office Master Key Has Stolen In Duluth Giving Thieves Access To Mail: Police
Duluth police warn residents to watch their mail closely and report any irregularities after a post office key to mailboxes was stolen.
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A master postal key in Duluth has been stolen, police shared on a Facebook post.
The key services the 30096 and 30097 zip codes, said police. It’s used by postal workers to access some mailboxes.
Residents with locked mailboxes are asked to closely monitor their mail and report any irregularities, police said.

"If you fall victim to a crime, we encourage residents to continue reporting such thefts to the Duluth Police Department for tracking," they wrote.
Residents can report the theft of mail — including checks and credit cards — to the United States Postal Service by visiting www.uspis.gov/report.
