JOHNS CREEK, GA — Christmas may be different again this year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. But something that hasn't changed is the closure of many services in Johns Creek for the holiday.

While Christmas is a federal holiday, some services may start their closures on Christmas Eve. Here are the openings and closings to know on and around Friday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) and Saturday, Dec. 25 (Christmas).

  • Fulton County courts, facilities and offices are closed on Friday and Monday.
    • Fulton County public safety services are available 365 days per year.
  • Garbage pick up depends on haulers in Johns Creek.
  • All Fulton County public libraries will be closed Dec. 24-27.
  • Fulton County Schools students are off from Dec. 20-Jan. 4, all offices are closed.
  • Municipal offices for Johns Creek will be closed Thursday and Friday.
  • This is a federal holiday and all U.S. Postal Service post offices will be closed. No mail will be delivered or sent. Regular business hours will resume Monday, Dec. 27.
