- A Johns Creek woman was almost the victim of a face warrant officer scam. According to the woman, a man called claiming to have an arrest warrant. He then instructed the woman to get $1,000 in money cards in order to avoid prosecution. The woman contacted a Johns Creek police officer, who stopped the woman from going through with the scam. As of Monday afternoon, no word on whether the scam artist was arrested. (Appen Media)
