Woodward Academy Fifth Grader Wins 1st Place At Magnolia Open

Emily Brown won 1st place in the Beginner Free Skate Level at the 2017 Magnolia Open ice skating competition.

From Woodward Academy: Woodward North fifth-grader Emily Brown recently won 1st place at the 2017 Magnolia Open ice skating competition hosted by the Atlanta Figure Skating Club. Emily competed in the Beginner Free Skate level where she earned first place marks from all five judges.

The Atlanta Figure Skating Club is comprised of more than 350 members who are devoted to the advancement and promotion of figure skating as an art and a sport.
