The American Opportunity Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides affordable housing and $3,000 scholarships for those who qualify.
“This gift is an answer to a truly unmet need at the Marietta Campus,” Marcy Stidum, director of CARE, said in a KSU news release. “Our program struggled many days to locate housing for the homeless students we serve there. Never did I think we would have a chance to provide a second apartment at the Marietta Campus the very next year. I am honored and thankful that American Opportunity Foundation would want to invest in the lives of our students.”
