Bike Sharing Available in Kennesaw
The Town Center CID project has set up bike docking stations along the Noonday Creek Trail. The stations are open 24/7.

Kennesaw residents who want to borrow a bike for a ride can now avail themselves of a free bike sharing program introduced by the Town Center Community Improvement District (CID) on Friday.
Three bike docking stations have been built along the seven-mile long Noonday Creek Trail, according to a release. The Town Center CID partnered with Zagster, a bike sharing company, to establish the first of hopefully several bike sharing options around the city.

Patrons must create a Zagster account to participate in the bike sharing program. The bike rental is free for the first hour, and then costs $3 an hour. The maximum out-of-pocket charge for one day of bike sharing is $24, Zagster says in the release.
Future expansions of the program are planned for the Bells Ferry Trailhead and the future sites of Town Center and Aviation parks, the release says.

“Great communities provide commuters, residents and visitors with transportation options, along with new and enriching things to do,” Tracy Rathbone, executive director of the Town Center Community Improvement District, said in a statement.
“The Zagster bike share system offers everyone who spends time in this area a fun and easy way to get to their favorite destinations. It’s an exciting chance to connect with our vibrant community, getting people out of the car and out of an everyday routine. We want to help create memorable experiences here, along with new, healthy habits!”
