Chase Massner: Friend Charged With Concealing Death
Cobb County police have charged James Bradshaw Clement, a friend of missing Army vet Chase Massner in his 2014 disappearance.
KENNESAW, GA -- Cobb County police have charged a 31-year-old man with concealing a death in the investigation of missing veteran Chase Massner. James Bradshaw Clement has agreed to turn himself in, Cobb police spokeswoman Alicia Chilton told Patch Friday evening.
Chilton said that although the remains found earlier this week in the backyard of a home at 555 Farmbrook Trail are believed to be that of Massner, official positive identification has not yet been determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office. The home at Farmbrook Trail is the last known address of Chase Massner, an Army veteran who disappeared in March 2014. He reportedly went to stay at Clement's home after having a marital dispute. Clement has fought allegations for three years that he had something to do with Massner's disappearance.

The developments come the same week a new GoFundMe page surfaced for Massner's family. Created by Ross Warnes, the page says that Massner's family is in need due to travel costs and "final expenses" related to his disappearance.
"As most of you know we finally have answers to this sad case that has eaten away at our hearts for over 3 years," Warnes says on the GoFundMe page. "While the family had greatly appreciated your support through this we can't stop now. With travel pays, final expenses and everything in between. Chase signed on that dotted line to give his life for ours, now it's our turn to help his family."
