Kennesaw Woman Charged In Crash That Killed Good Samaritan

Kennesaw woman recently charged in May crash that killed Good Samaritan in Cobb County.

MARIETTA, GA -- A Kennesaw woman has been charged in a crash that killed a Good Samaritan in Marietta, Cobb County police told Patch. A car driven by Tiara McClellan rear-ended a disabled vehicle, sending it crashing into a man who was trying to assist another motorist.

McClellan was charged over the weekend and booked into jail on multiple offenses, including speeding, a seatbelt violation, homicide by vehicle in the second degree, following too closely and driving without a licenses, according to Cobb police spokeswoman Alicia Chilton.

Mark E. Strow, 52, of Alpharetta was killed in the crash, authorities said. McClellan bonded out shortly after she was arrested, jail records show.
