Memorial for Kennesaw Councilman Bill Thrash Scheduled

Kennesaw Councilmember William E. "Bill" Thrash died last week at the age of 58 after a long battle with cancer.

Kennesaw City Councilman Bill Thrash, who died after a long battle with cancer on May 22, requested that his body be donated to Emory University.

In lieu of a funeral, his family and Mayor Mark Mathews and the Kennesaw City Council extend an invitation to a memorial service on Saturday, June 8 at 11 a.m. at Kennesaw Mountain High School. 

This program will be followed by a picnic lunch at Swift-Cantrell Park.
