New Dean Named at Kennesaw State

He will secure research grants for the school.

The Kennesaw State University College of Science and Mathematics has named its first associate dean of research.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Jonathan McMurry will secure research grants for the school in his new role.

McMurry, who came to Kennesaw State in 2006 and was an associate professor of chemistry, has a master’s and bachelor’s in biology from the University of North Carolina, and a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Connecticut, according to the AJC.
