North Cobb Boys 10th at Roswell Relays
For the girls, Victoria Carroll's 9-foot pole vault accounts for all the scoring.

Two strong relays and two big jumps propelled boys to a 10th-place finish Saturday at the Roswell Relays at .
On the track, Dejon Brooks, Eric Gjertson, Daniel Bozeman and MJ Moore teamed up to finish fourth in the 4x800-meter relay in 8:42.86, and Thomas Webster, Denzel Williams, Brandon Neely and Martez Hester ran fourth in the 1,600-meter sprint medley in 3:51.

On the field, Ty Griffin cleared 5 feet, 10 inches in the high jump to finish fifth, and Nick Johnson leapt 20 feet, 5¼ inches in the long jump to place fourth.
The Lady Warriors, meanwhile, finished 17th. Victoria Carroll accounted for all of their points by finishing second in the pole vault, clearing 9 feet.

The relays, co-sponsored by the Roswell Rotary Club and Roswell High School, date back to the 1950s. This year girls from 21 high schools and boys from 19 high schools competed in 14 events. Host Roswell won the girls’ and boys’ titles.
