Police Find Remains In Kennesaw Where Veteran Was Last Seen
Cobb County police say they have found remains -- too early to tell whether human or animal -- in Kennesaw where veteran went missing.
KENNESAW, GA -- Cobb County police are investigating after remains were found in a backyard in Kennesaw, authorities said late Tuesday. Law enforcement officials said the home in the 500 block of Farmbrook Trail is the last known address of Chase Massner, an Army veteran who disappeared in March 2014.
"We located remains (unsure if human or animal at this time) at 555 Farmbrook Trail," Cobb spokeswoman Officer Alicia Chilton said in a news release. "The remains have been removed from the backyard of the residence, and the medical examiner and detectives are now working to identify the remains."
