Police Search for Attempted Armed Robbery Suspect

The suspect acted as though he had a gun in his hoodie, but fled the restaurant when the manager didn't give him any money.

Cobb County police are looking for a man they say tried to rob a Kennesaw restaurant at gunpoint Thursday night.

Police say the man entered the Firehouse Subs in the 800 block of Barrett Parkway at 10:10 p.m. and demanded money from the manager while acting as though he had a gun in his hoodie, police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce said. After the manager refused to give him any money, the man fled from the store using a back door.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’09” tall, with a thin to medium build. He was thought to be in his late 20’s to early 30’s and was last seen wearing a gray “hoodie” and blue jeans. He acted as if he had a firearm.
