Ted Cruz Appearing in Kennesaw Tonight

KENNESAW, GA -- Area residents who would like to get up close and personal with Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz still have time to register for his appearance in Kennesaw this evening.

Cruz, a senator from Texas, will speak at the Hawthorne Aviation Hangar at McCollum Field from 7 to 9 p.m., according to the candidate’s website.

Cruz was originally scheduled to appear at 4:30 p.m., but a vote in Washington forced him to push back the event, the Marietta Daily Journal reports.

Registration for the event can be completed online.
