Warrant: Kennesaw Man Assaults Wife, Children

He faces 11 charges in connection with the July 11 incident at a home in the 2000 block of Winsburg Way.

A Kennesaw man allegedly threw his wife onto a glass coffee table, punched his 15-year-old son in the face and pushed his 16-year-old daughter.

Shawn Eric Bailey is wanted on 11 charges in connection with the July 11 incident at a home in the 2000 block of Winsburg Way.

Bailey's wife received multiple small cuts when she was allegedly thrown onto the coffee table, according to an arrest warrant.

"Accused then went after the victim as she attempted to escape through a bedroom window," according to the warrant. "The accused did grab the victim as she ran towards the window and threw her against the wall."

Bailey faces three counts each of assault and false imprisonment, two counts of cruelty to children in the third degree and one count each of family violence, battery and cruelty to children in the second degree.
