Berkmar Boys Advance in Basketball Tournament

Berkmar High's boys basketball team is advancing into the second round of the state tournament.

On Wednesday, Feb. 20, the team -- which entered the tournament as the No. 3 seed -- beat out Roswell High School. The Roswell Hornets were runners-up in the Region 5-AAAAAA finals.

The final score Wednesday was 60-47, according to Georgia High School Association.

Now, the Patriots face Alpharetta High, which defeated Collins Hill High School in the first round.
