Dancing, the Arts and More Are Happening in Lilburn This Week

Are you planning your week already? Here are some of the things happening in Lilburn from July 29-Aug. 3. 

The Lilburn Arts Alliance is holding its first meeting Wednesday, July 31, in Lilburn City Hall. The public is invited to the brief business meeting followed by a presentation by David Raderstorf, an accomplished local artist who's also the chairman of the Norcross' Kudzu Art Zone. The meeting starts at 7 p.m.

Bright and early Friday (Aug. 2) at 5 a.m., 11Alive is taking over the city of Lilburn to tape for its morning show's "This is Home" series. The community is invited to come out to Lilburn City Hall by 4:45 a.m. to show their Lilburn pride. Click here for more details. 

Also that morning is the Lilburn Business Association's monthly Business Builders Breakfast. Business owners and the like are invited to the 8 a.m. networking event to meet others over coffee, juice and sweet rolls. The event is on the first Friday of every month until 9:30 a.m. at Killian Hall. If not already a member, the cost of the breakfast is $5.

As with every Friday, the Lilburn Farmers Market will be across Lilburn City Park from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Be sure to check out all the local produce and extra activities, such as cooking demos and kids fun, that the market changes by the week.

Hop on back to Killian Hall on Saturday for Dinner & Dancing at Killian Hall. Seventeen-piece jazz band Metro Jazz Club will be performing from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will be a cash bar and appetizers, dinner, complimentary dance lessons and dancing. For more details, click here.
