Minor Elementary Gets Donation of 60 Kindles

Minor Elementary in Lilburn got a nice donation for its digital library during Read Across America Week.

Russell Holcombe, of Holcombe Financial, donated 60 Kindles to Minor Elementary School in Lilburn.

Faculty and staff unveiled the donation to students on Read Across America Day, March. 1. The electronic reading books will be available to students inside the library's new "Digital Den."

Principal Christina Wimmer had this to say about the donation to the school:

"It's amazing. We're fortunate to have a lot of business partners, but this is a huge donation amount, especially in these difficult economic times. So, it was great to add the Holcombe Financial family to our business partners."
