Teen Charged With Murder In Fatal Lilburn Shooting
The deadly shooting at Betty Jean Court appears to be drug-related, police said.

LILBURN, GA β A 16-year-old boy is facing murder charges in connection with a deadly shooting that claimed the life of a 28-year-old Lawrenceville man, Gwinnett County Police said Monday.
The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the area of Gwens Trail, police said. Responding officers found Terrence Weston dead from an apparent gunshot wound in the 3000 block of Betty Jean Court, police said.
The motive for the fatal shooting appears to be drug-related, police said.

Detectives arrested Ryan Abreu, of Lawrenceville, in connection with the shooting, police said.
Abreu, who was charged as an adult, was charged on suspicion of aggravated assault, felony murder, possession of a firearm by a person under 18 years old and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, police said.
