β’ Thurmond Lake accepting Real Christmas Trees soon for Recycling Program (wnegradio.com) β Lincolnton residents can recycle their real Christmas trees at the Amity Day Use Area boat ramp on Thurmond Lake from Dec. 20 through Jan. 18. The Corps of Engineers will use the trees to build fish habitat, and anglers are welcome to pick some up to create their own fish attractors in the lake.
