2 Arrested in Home Burglary Attempt

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Highway 138 and Forrester Cemetery Road. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Arrest in Reference to Safety Check:
- Jayde Bulter was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Unsecure Premises- A residence in the area of Gratis Road homeowner reported a possible burglary at their residence due to a door partially opened. Deputies checked the area, no signed of forced entry and nothing seemed to be missing.
Zone 5
Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Grady Smith Road in reference to an unknown subject driving through yards in the area causing trenches in the yards.
Attempted Burglary/Arrest- A residence on Arbor Road complainant reported seeing two suspicious male subjects at a residence in the area. Logan Peterson and Ron Pendley were arrested in reference to the incident.
- Logan Peterson arrested for Criminal Attempt to Commit Burglary, Possession/Manufacture of Controlled Substance with Attempt to Distribute, Possession/Use Drug Related Objects, Possession of Controlled Substance (Schedule II), Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce and Possession of Non-Labeled Prescription Drugs.
- Ron Pendley arrested for Criminal Attempt to Commit Burglary, Possession/Manufacture of Controlled Substance with Attempt to Distribute, and Possession of Non-Labeled Prescription Drugs.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to an accident involving a deer in the area of Broadnax Mill Road. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.
Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of New Horizon Drive in the early morning hours in reference to an unknown white male wearing a camouflage hooded sweatshirt near a bus stop in the area several days in a row. Area was checked the morning of Friday, October 30, 2015 from the hours of 6:00-8:30 AM no contact with suspect. Extra patrol will continue in the area.
Road Rage- In the area of Walnut Avenue and Leone Avenue motorist reported a unknown female driving a blue BMW was driving aggressively and threw something at their vehicle. No damaged caused to the vehicle. Deputies checked the area, no contact with suspect.
Threats- A residence in the area of Cannon Farm Road complainant reported receiving threats from unknown subjects claiming to rob them. Extra patrol requested in reference to the threats.
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a vehicle involving a deer in the area of Highway 138 and Rowe Road. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.
