5 Dirt Bikes, a boat, a 4-Wheeler and Car Stolen in Walton County
During the period July 9 to 22, a vehicle, a boat and several bikes were reported stolen in Walton County.

The following is a report of thefts and burglaries investigated by Walton County Sheriff’s Deputies during the period July 9 to 22.
Zone 1
- Entering Auto – On Harris Rockmore Loop, a vehicle was entered and items were stolen.
- Entering Auto – A gun was stolen from a vehicle parked at a residence on Elm St.
- Stolen Vehicle – A white 2010 wrecker was stolen from a dealership on Hwy 138.

- Burglary Report – When a resident on Paul Malcom Rd. returned home, they noticed that their front door was open. After Walton County deputies cleared the residence, it was confirmed that a burglary had occurred.
Zone 4
- Theft – A boat and a motor were stolen from a property on Jack Glass Rd.
- Stolen vehicle – A 4-wheeler was reported stolen from a residence on John Stowe Rd.

- Entering Auto – A truck was entered on Piney Grove Rd. A knife and holster were stolen; in addition, the seat cover was ripped and the tire was slashed.
- Entering Auto – Two vehicles were entered on Piney Grove Rd. Nothing was taken out of the vehicles.
- Theft – Five dirt bikes were stolen from a barn on River Bluff Rd. The bikes were later recovered on John Stowe Rd. Suspects have been identified.
- Entering Auto – A vehicle on Lee Peters Rd. was entered and items were stolen.
- Entering Auto – A vehicle on Maple Creek Lane was entered and a speaker box was taken.
Zone 6
- Burglary – On Deerfield Rd., a garage was burglarized and a window A/C unit and a band saw were taken. A suspect has been named in the theft.
Zone 7
- Burglary – At Corinth Christian Church on Hwy 81, items were stolen from the Teen Room. Witnesses saw a white male, wearing a black “hoodie,” in the back parking lot. When the witnesses saw the suspect he took off running into the wood line behind the church.
