proved there is no time like the present and put Loganville on the map of competitive Cheerleading at the CHEERSPORT NATIONALS held at the Georgia World Congress Center on Feb. 18 and 19. Three of the gym's teams won National Championships in their respective divisions. Future Extreme brought home the title in the Junior Coed Level Three, Junior Level Two, and Senior Level Two.
“Winning this event is a wonderful experience for the athletes in our program," said Micah Redden, coach and owner of Future Extreme. "It is amazing to watch so many kids work on individual skills and bring those skills together with a team when it matters the most. These situations help young people learn how to sacrifice for what matters and also how to triumph when it is necessary!”
Redden said Cheersport Nationals is one of the largest and most prestigious competitions in the world of cheerleading. The event draws between 20,000 and 30,000 cheerleaders representing over 900 teams from around the U.S.
