Loganville Post Office to Participate in Passport Fair March 10

The will be participating in the 1-day Passport Fair on Saturday, March 10. Officials said in a press release that this special event, to take place from 1 - 3 p.m. at the Logan Street Post Office, is to help meet the growing demand for passports. Neither the Grayson Post Office nor any other post office in Walton County will be participating. Passport photographs, for a $15 fee, also will be offered.

To apply for a Passport, you must bring the following:

  • Proof of American citizenship, such as a previous passport, a certified birth certificate, or a certificate of citizenship or naturalization.
  • One form of photo identification, such as a driver’s license or state identification card, military photo ID card or government photo employee card.

Minor children, under 16 years of age, applying for passports should be accompanied by both parents. Children 16 to 17 require the presence of one parent. If one parent is not present, the appearing parent must present evidence of sole legal custody of the child, notarized written consent of the other parent for the issuance of the passport, or a written statement explaining why the non-applying parent’s consent cannot be obtained.

The fees are as follows:

Passports: Adults - $110 - Children (under 16) - $80, plus a $25 Acceptance fee. (Express mail service will be available  for expedited processing).

Passport Cards: Adults - $30 - Children - $15, plus a $25 Acceptance fee.

Passport photos will be available on site for $15. If you provide your own you must have one 2" x 2" photo. Passport applications are available at http://www.usps.com/passport or at the post office.
