Chevy Blazer Stolen From Residence on Center Hill Church Road in Loganville Area

Walton County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the following calls during the period June 7 - 11, including the vehicle theft, a utility trailer theft and several entering auto complaints.

The Walton County Sheriff's Office reported that it ran 9,300 calls during the month of May. The Loganville Police Department reportedly ran 1,300 during the same period, just withing the Loganville city limits.

With juveniles out of school at the moment, officials report that calls are up. Residents are urged to keep cars locked as deputies are dealing with an increased number of entering auto complaints.

The following incidents were responded to by the WCSO during the period June 7 - 11, 2013.

Zone 1

  • Dispute – Subjects at a residence on Hwy 138 were fighting while intoxicated. One subject was struck with a crowbar. No charges were filed.

  • Prowler Report – Subjects were seen in the wood line behind a residence on Squirrel Hollow Rd. The subjects were seen with flashlights and were possibly picked up by an unidentified vehicle on Vine St. No description of the suspects or vehicle was given.

Zone 3

  • Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Snows Mill Rd. @ Powers Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Zone 4 

  • Theft Report – A firearm was taken from a residence on Grape Vine Trail.
  • Found Property – A fireproof safe was found on Mt. Vernon Rd.

Zone 5

  • Chase – A subject fled from deputies while on Highway 11 & Alton Green Rd. The passenger was arrested for controlled substance violations. Warrants were taken for the driver for Fleeing, Obstruction and Driving while License Suspended/Revoked.
  • Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Watson Fain Trail in Watson Farms. All doors and windows appeared secure.
  • Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Piney Grove Rd. @ Summit Court. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
  • Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Seths Ridge in Seth Ridge subdivision. All doors and windows appeared secure.

Zone 6

  • Harassment – A neighbor was allegedly harassed by another neighbor on Waterford Dr.
  • Stolen Vehicle – A trailer with several tools inside was taken from a location on Sandy Creek Rd.
  • Damage to Property – A mailbox was damaged and salad dressing was smeared on a residence in Hidden Creek on Fieldwood Lane. Juveniles are suspected.

Zone 7

  • Arrest – A subject was arrested on Bypass Rd. for Disorderly Conduct.
  • Damage to Property – A back window on a residence on Timberland Rd. in Woodlake subdivision was busted out due to a golf ball.
  • Entering Auto – Prescription medications and money was taken from a vehicle while parked at Unity Store on Hwy 278. The window was busted out; however the vehicle was unlocked at the time of the incident.
  • Theft Report – A storage unit at Econo Storage on Hwy 138 was broken into. Appliances were taken. 
  • Stolen Vehicle – A tan 1999 Chevrolet Blazer was taken from a residence on Centerhill Church Rd.
