Job description: Under general supervision, performs skilled work in support of the operations of the roads and bridges Department. Work involves handling the responsibility for operating a variety of equipment to construct and maintains county roads and drainage systems.
Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by one to two years of experience in public works maintenance operations and/or heavy equipment operation; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must possess a valid State CDL driver’s license.
