Daily Dose for Job Seekers: Openings in Grounds and Facilities Maintenance

These jobs require applicants to have a high school diploma, a valid Georgia driver's license and grounds maintenance experience.

Gwinnett County is hiring for two positions — grounds maintenance associate I and grounds maintenance associate II. The first is responsible for performing routine maintenance of grounds, such as mowing grass, picking up trash, janitorial tasks and basic equipment maintenance. The second is primarily responsible for performing janitorial duties at the aquatic facility, while minor repairs and maintenance on buildings and grounds are secondary duties.

Both jobs require applicants to have a high school diploma, a valid Georgia driver's license and grounds maintenance experience, with associate II requiring at least two years of facilities and grounds experience.
