Job description:
- Plans, schedules and develops bill of materials for all maintenance activities in the facility to improve effectiveness of maintenance resources
- Compiles information to develop scope of work, work priority, resources requirements, pick lists, work sequence, permits and schedule. Requires site visits to assess the scope of the work and required maintenance
- Communicate with staff, vendors and contractors as needed to gather and research information
- Procure, coordinate, schedule and direct vendors and contractors to minimize costs and ensure quality work
- Prepares and maintains logs, forms and reports in CMMS and performs additional dutiesÂ
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in manufacturing and/or technical related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three years of progressively responsible trades experience in water and wastewater treatment plant equipment or similar industrial equipment, to include two years of experience in computerized maintenance management systems, such as MAXIMO, SAP or others

- Performs installations and repairs in functional area
- Inspects and/or troubleshoots equipment to determine if repairs are needed
- Performs preventative maintenance in functional area
- Performs complex maintenance and installations in functional area
- Performs site inspections and recognizing problem areas
- Assists with the coordination and oversight of the work of outside contractors
- Maintains level of supplies and equipment
- Assists crews in other functional areas
- Performs on-call duties
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Four years of plumbing experience
- Valid Georgia drivers’ license
- Class II Unrestricted Conditioned Air Contractor’s License
