Dead Woman Found At Yellow River Park By Gwinnett Police
Gwinnett police need the public's help to ID a Black woman with two identifiable tattoos on her, found shot dead in Yellow River Park.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — A call reporting a medical emergency Wednesday in Yellow River Park led Gwinnett police to find a woman who had been shot and killed.
Police found the woman under a tree at the Stone Mountain park, "deceased from apparent gunshot wounds,” according to a Gwinnett County Police Department spokesperson as reported by WXIA-TV. Authorities don’t know who she is, who shot her or why she was shot, according to the Atlanta news station. Police are still investigating.
The victim is described as a light-skinned Black female, believed to be between 20 and 35 years old. According to police, she has two identifiable tattoos: one of a heart and cross with the date 8-16-07, and another on her neck that says “faith makes all possible.”
