Grayson DDA Debuts Small Business Incubator

Official ribbon cutting scheduled for 8:30 - 10 a.m. June 27. First network session will take place at 4:30 p.m. that evening.

GRAYSON, Ga - The Grayson Downtown Development Authority will debut its small business incubator on June 27th with on open house at the facility at 438 Grayson Parkway.

The incubator was created to assist in small business development by offering support resources and services. The DDA has begun taking applications as it builds a network and advisory council with the goal of producing more viable businesses to create jobs and strengthen Grayson’s economy.

“We’re already working with businesses interested in joining the program. Investing in this facility allows Grayson to attract and retain business to an already thriving community,” said Jimmy Norton, Chairman of the Grayson DDA.

In working with Grayson’s business community, the DDA also found a need for a membership-based co-working experience for local entrepreneurs who require professional office space on a part-time basis to meet and work with clients. 

Gail Lane, Manager of the Grayson DDA, said the purpose of the incubator is to provide an infrastructure and environment for burgeoning companies to grow inter larger enterprises.

The public is invited to tour the building and its amenities and celebrate the official ribbon cutting on June 27th, between 8:30 – 10 a.m. Coffee and refreshments will be served. That evening, The Grayson DDA will host their first business networking event beginning at 4:30. The 438 Building is located across Hwy. 84 from Grayson’s City Hall.
