Ground Broken On Upscale Assisted-Living in Grayson

Dogwood Forest will have 99 units and fancy features like virus-killing UV lights.

GRAYSON, GA -- Business and political leaders on Thursday broke ground on Dogwood Forest, a 99-unit, luxury assisted-living community in Grayson.

The $26 million facility, by Trinity Lifestyles Management, will have balconies, courtyards and restaurant-style dining areas with waiters and menus.

Want more? How about an air-conditioning system with UV lighting that Trinity says kills viruses and UV lighting designed to boost a person’s mood.

“It’s going to be the big mansion,” Trinity CEO Al Holbrook said at the ceremony, according to the Gwinnett Daily Post.

Dogwood Forest is the first of two assisted living communities that Trinity plans to build in Gwinnett County over the next few years, the Post reports. Chief Operating Officer Vickie Curl said the company will break ground on a similar community in Sugar Hill near the end of 2016.
