  3. Gwinnett police have found a missing man with "medical concerns." Although police had planned to search the area Wednesday, they were able to locate Bobby Joe Denny prior to that time. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
  4. In an update to the previously reported rape case involving a Georgia State University campus police officer, body camera footage has revealed that a Gwinnett County police officer responded to a call related to the victim before the reported rape. The officer came to the restaurant where the victim first met her accused rapist for a date. In the footage, the victim says, "I’m so sleepy, I’m tired," which prompts some to say the responding officer did not do enough to keep the victim safe. The security officer at the restaurant said his officers called the police after they watched the suspect, 59-year-old Terry Payne, unsuccessfully try to carry the victim woman out of the restaurant after she had only one drink. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
  5. In an attempt to hold trash companies accountable, Gwinnett County is instituting fines for missed pickups. The fees included are $25 per house that does not receive pick up and another $50 fee if the pick up is not completed by the next day. Some residents in Gwinnett County have reported going weeks without trash pick-ups. Trash fees are also increasing for residents to balance the companies' costs for gas and inflation. (WSB Atlanta)
