Gwinnett Restaurant Inspections: Fratelli's, Pizza Hut, Subway

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Now that pandemic restrictions are being relaxed and restaurants are reopening, are you thinking of going out for a bite to eat? Then check out these inspection scores for restaurant and food-service operations conducted over the last week in Gwinnett County, including all of Loganville and Suwanee.

More than half of the 40 restaurants and food-service operations inspected scored an A, with nine operations rating a perfect 100. Two operations that previously had been rated "unacceptable" — Caihong Senior Service and Frontera Mex-Mex Grill, both in Norcross — were among the restaurants with perfect scores this time.

However, two restaurants — Dulces Suenos Cakes and Pho Dai Nam Vietnamese Kitche, also both in Norcross — scored less than 70 and were deemed "unacceptable." Those restaurants have direct links to their inspection reports with their listings below. Restaurants with low or failing scores are typically given a second chance and re-inspected a week or so later.

How They're Rated

Each item on an inspection form has a point value ranging from 1 to 9 points, with violations deducting points from the best possible score of 100. Higher points are taken for items with higher risk to cause illness, while repeat violations take even more points.
