Hit and Run, Attempted Home Break-in: Walton County Sheriff's Office Alerts

Zone 1
 
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Fairway Drive in Fairway Estates. All windows and doors appeared secure.
 
 
Zone 2
 
Arrest – Charles Mitchell was arrested on Willow Wind Court for DUI.
 
 
Zone 3
 
Hit and Run – Two vehicles were involved in an accident on Highway 78 at James Huff Rd. One of the vehicles, a black Toyota Camry, left the scene. The vehicle sustained a great deal of front end damage.
 
 
Zone 4
 
Prowler – Two male subjects, reportedly, attempted to enter the back door of a residence on Fairview Drive in Green Acres subdivision.
 
 
Zone 5
 
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Worth Avenue in Lakewood Park subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
 
Safety Check – Two subjects were arrest during a safety check on Mountain Creek Church Rd. at Bold Springs Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. 

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 11 at Alton Green Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No arrests were made.
 
Suspicious Person – David Harris was arrested on Bold Springs Rd. at Roscoe Davis Rd. in reference to an outstanding warrant.
 
 
Zone 6
 
Prowler – Noises were heard outside of a residence on Oakwood Drive in Oakwood subdivision. No contact was made.
 
Suspicious Person – Two subjects were reportedly at a location on Hwy 20 carrying flashlights. No one was located when deputies arrived.
 
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 78 at Lowry Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. Several arrests were made during the safety check.
 
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Arblay Place in Cevera Lakes subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.
 
 
Zone 7
 
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to two alarms at a business on Hwy 81. All windows and doors appeared secure.
 
Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested on Ashley Falls in Ashley Falls subdivision in reference to a domestic dispute.
 
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Cedar Lake Trail in Cedar Lake Estates. All windows and doors appeared secure.

 
Monroe City Limits
 
Entering Auto – Walton County deputies discovered that a vehicle had been entered on South Madison Avenue. Monroe Police Department was notified.
 
Arrest – Vaurnice Malcom was arrested on Walker Drive for two outstanding warrants.
 
Arrest – Avery Mitchell was arrested on Plaza Drive for an outstanding warrant.
 
Drug Activity – A white female subject and a white male subject were arrested on Hwy 138 in reference to drug-related charges after a traffic stop.
