It's Superhero Night As Gladiators Begin To Wrap Up Season

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — The Atlanta Gladiators are offering special events going into their final four regular season home games.

Here is some information about three of the final four regular season home games of the 2018-2019 season. All home games are played in the Infinite Energy Center.

Marvel Super Hero Night:
Date: Saturday, March 23
Time: 7:35 p.m.

The Atlanta Gladiators will take on the Kansas City Mavericks on Saturday, March 23, for their final Saturday night game of the regular season. The night will be filled with Marvel Super Hero elements for fans of all ages to enjoy. Fans can meet Thor and Captain America in the main concourse of the arena prior to puck drop. We are also hosting a special Marvel VIP experience where fans can purchase a ticket that includes a premium level ticket as well as a meet and greet experience for $50. In addition, the Gladiators will be wearing Groot themed jerseys that fans can bid on throughout the game, check out the Gladiators social media as the game gets closer for more details. As an additional element, they are having our final $5 Frenzy of the season. It was be a baseball style hat with the Gladiators logo on the front. Fans can come dressed as their favorite super hero and help cheer on the Gladiators as they make the push for the playoffs.

Atlanta Pro Sports Night/Undie Sunday
Date: Sunday, March 24
Time: 3:05 p.m.

About Atlanta Pro Sports Night and Undie Sunday: Join the Atlanta Gladiators as they face off against division rival the Greenville Swamp Rabbits on Sunday, March 24 at 3:05 p.m. It will be their Atlanta Pro Sports night where we will have the Georgia Swarm, Gwinnett Stripers, Atlanta United, Atlanta Hawks, and Atlanta Legends in attendance. We will be celebrating with various in-game activities that revolve around the Atlanta sports world. Since many of our fellow sports brethren will be in attendance, we will also be celebrating our very own mascot’s, Maximus, birthday with an nontraditional mascot race.

As an additional element to the game, the Gladiators will be hosting their inaugural Undie Sunday that benefits the Foster Care Support Foundation. They will be collecting various undergarment items for the Foster Care Support Foundation at this game anywhere from premature babies to Adult 4XL. The Gladiators will be collecting new, packaged items such as underwear, undershirts, socks, and diapers. They are inviting fans to bring these items to the game, and all the items EXCEPT diapers can be thrown on the ice after the Gladiators score their first goal of the game. The diapers should be dropped off in the front lobby of the arena to the Gladiators diaper collection table. Anyone who brings a box of diapers will be entered into a raffle to win various gift cards from the Atlanta Gladiators restaurant partners.

Wild WINSday/French Bulldog Race
Date: Wednesday, March 27
Time: 7:35 p.m.

About Wild WINSday/French Bulldog Race: Join the Atlanta Gladiators as they take on the Orlando Solar Bears on Wednesday, March 27 at 7:35 p.m. This will be the final Wild WINSday of the season which means that if the Gladiators win, you receive a complementary ticket to the final home game of the regular season on Sunday, April 7 at 3:05 p.m. In addition, they are hosting their inaugural French Bulldog Race. In similar fashion to our Wiener Dog Race, we are having another dog race on the ice during the first intermission. The winning dog and owner will receive great prizes from the Gladiators.

As another layer to the game, the Atlanta Gladiators have teamed up with the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and we will be having three Major League Soccer players out to the game! These players include Leandro Gonzalez Pirez, Eric Remedi, and Hector Villalba. We will be hosting a special VIP Autograph Experience from 5 - 7 p.m. where fans receive one premium ticket, entrance to the VIP event, opportunity to have one item autographed, opportunity for a photograph and one Atlanta Gladiators Scarf.
