Jane Stegall to Serve as Interim Principal of South Gwinnett HS

Formerly with Brookwood High, Ms. Stegall is approved as the interim principal.

In a July 23 press release, the Gwinnett County Board of Education announced that at its July meeting, Jane Stegall was approved as interim principal at South Gwinnett.

For the start of the school year, she will replace Clay Hunter, who announced his resignation on July 10 to take a leadership position with Atlanta Public Schools.

The press release reads, "naming Ms. Stegall as the school’s interim principal, the Board of Education selected a veteran leader, who has years of experience as an assistant principal and principal in Gwinnett County."

Stegall has served as a principal mentor for the school system since her retirement in 2007. She was principal at Brookwood from 2002-2007.
