Katie Morris of Grayson Graduates from Harding University

Morris received a Bachelor of Business Administration in management information systems.

SEARCY, AR (06/26/2013)(readMedia)-- Katie Morris of Grayson was one of more than 750 graduates to receive a diploma at Harding University's commencement exercises May 11.

Morris received a Bachelor of Business Administration in management information systems.

Graduates in the 9 a.m. ceremony included students from the College of Arts and Humanities, College of Bible and Ministry, Paul R. Carter College of Business Administration, Cannon-Clary College of Education, and the Honors College. The 1 p.m. ceremony was for students graduating from the College of Allied Health, Carr College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy and College of Sciences.

Dr. David Burks, chancellor of Harding University, was the speaker for both ceremonies. Burks became president in May 1987 and retired to the roll of chancellor this June, concluding his 26th year as president. The ceremonies were held in the George S. Benson Auditorium. Burks presented the diplomas to all students.

Harding is the largest private university in Arkansas with 6,815 students and attracts more National Merit Scholars than any other private university in the state.
