Loganville Woman Accused of Defrauding 72-year-old Woman
Kimberly Farmer, 50, of Loganville charged with using the checking account of a 72-year-old Lawrenceville woman to pay $2,570 worth of bills for other families.

Kimberly Farmer, 50, of 1999 Broadnax Mill Road, Loganville, was arrested on July 26 and charged with financial identity fraud. The arrest came after an investigation by Walton County Sheriff's Office and the Gwinnett County Police Department.
According to a report by the Gwinnett County PD, Farmer used the checking account of a 72-year-old Lawrenceville woman to pay bills at Walton EMC for three families. A total of $2,570 was allegedly taken from the account of the victim to pay the bills. She is reported to have called in to Walton EMC to pay the bills.
According to jail records, the financial identity fraud carries a security bond of $11,200. However, Farmer remained in the Gwinnett County Jail Friday where she was being held without bond for Walton County Authorities.
