What does your business do?: Make fresh lemonade and other flavors like blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, and strawberry.

How many employees do you have?: 5 - my mom, dad, sister and two of my brothers, but not the oldest

Why did you start your business?: To help people with the money I make

What’s your favorite part about your owning this business?: It's really fun making the lemonade.

What makes your business different from others?: I'm six-years-old. My dad made me a special lemonade stand.  And my mom made me a uniform to match it.  The lemonade is also the best! 

What’s your goal for your business? Short term and long term?: The goal is to help people and sell great lemonade.

Anything you would like to add?: Hayden's mother adds: Hayden has always had a desire to help people - particularly when it comes to feeding them and making people happy. She approached my husband about starting a lemonade stand. She wasn't able to sell him on buying Borders (the bookstore) and making it into a new Borders. They set out to design it. I asked her what she wanted to do.  Her goal was just to help people. So we set out to use this as a teaching tool and to help her reach her goal. All profits from her lemonade stand are going directly to two places: her college fund and to buy food to help the local food ministries.  If she could feed the world, she would do it. As her mom, I will keep on encouraging her to try!
